The Chronicle of the Gibborim series of books is set in the ancient world around 900B.C. The Chronicle is based on the Biblical account of the lives of David, Bathsheba, Solomon, and Joab.
But the Chronicle is historical fiction. This book, The World of the Gibborim, explains what is Biblical fact and what is fiction. It gives a synopsis of the main characters encountered. It fills in much of the background necessary for understanding the world of 3,000 years ago.
